Strawberry Hill Racing
Race Week Events

Strawberry Hill Race Week is a series of events and activities which precede and celebrate central Virginia’s annual “rite of spring,” the Strawberry Hill Races, to foster promotion, fund-raising and awareness opportunities for charitable organizations. The Strawberry Hill Races are presented annually by The State Fair of Virginia Inc (SFVA), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, to promote equestrian sport, Virginia horses, charitable causes and a number of community-based activities including its own mission-related programs and projects. The State Fair’s Scholarship Program has, since 1989, awarded 2,439 scholarships and has dedicated over $1.8 million dollars to youth education.
